Bucky Schrader, Eagle: The Mustangs improved to 7-0 in the 5A Southern Idaho Conference with a 55-28 victory against Vallivue. Schrader, a junior running back, had 153 yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries, plus another 109 yards and two more scores on two catches.

Nikael Miller, Horseshoe Bend: The Mustangs won four matches last week in straight sets against Wilder, Greenleaf, Riverstone and Idaho City to improve to 20-1 overall and 11-0 in matches against 1A Division I District Three teams. Miller, a senior outside hitter, led the way with 38 kills, 34 digs, 11 aces and one block.
Grace Hancock, Boise: The Braves wrapped up the 5A Southern Idaho Conference's regular-season title with an unbeaten record as Hancock scored the game-winner in a 1-0 defeat of Centennial. Hancock, a senior committed to Washington State, also added one goal in a 6-0 win over Meridian, helping the Braves limit the Warriors to zero shots on goal.
Cole Fuller, Timberline: The Wolves closed out the 5A Southern Idaho Conference regular season with a 6-1 win against Eagle as Fuller notched four goals. In the first round of the 5A District Three Tournament, the junior forward then added one goal in a 3-0 victory over Capital.
GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY
Sierra Manzer, Melba: The senior took care of business in her school's own meet, winning the Melba Invitational at Celebration Park. Manzer completed the 3-mile course in 17 minutes, 11.28 seconds, helping the Mustangs win the team title.
BOYS CROSS COUNTRY
Peyton Brothers, Nampa Christian: The junior led the way for the Trojans at the Melba Invitational at Celebration Park. Brothers crossed the finish line on the 3-mile course in 15 minutes, 46.59 seconds for an individual victory and a second-place team finish.
