Jimmy Dawson, Parma: The Panthers knocked off Weiser 42-14 in a 3A Snake River Valley game, handing the Wolverines just their second loss of the season. Dawson, a junior running back, racked up 277 yards and five touchdowns on 26 carries. He also added a 30-yard punt return.

Mali Sawyer, Eagle: The Mustangs remained perfect in 5A Southern Idaho Conference play with wins over Borah and Centennial. In a sweep of Borah, Sawyer contributed 18 kills, five digs and three blocks. The senior middle blocker then had 25 kills, seven digs and three blocks in a 25-19, 25-17, 14-25, 25-18 win over Centennial.
Raimee Sherle, Rocky Mountain: The Grizzlies maintained their position among the top three teams in the 5A Southern Idaho Conference with a pair of victories. In a 6-0 rout of Capital, Sherle scored four goals. The junior forward also had one goal in a 2-0 win over Eagle, which was the just the Mustangs' second loss of the season.
Christian Mondragon, Skyview: The Hawks strengthened their hold on first place in the 4A Southern Idaho Conference by beating two contenders last week. Mondragon, a sophomore forward, had one goal and one assist in a 3-0 win over Caldwell, and then scored the game-winner in Skyview's 1-0 defeat of Bishop Kelly.
GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY
Mikayla Malaspina, Vallivue: The senior continued her strong season with a victory at the Gard Ward Invitational at Lakeview Park in Nampa. Malaspina completed the 5-kilometer course in 18 minutes, 2.81 seconds to help the Falcons finish first as a team.
BOYS CROSS COUNTRY
Austin Fred, Middleton: The senior picked up his third individual win of the season at the Gary Ward Invitational at Lakeview Park in Nampa. Fred ran the 5-kilometer course in 15 minutes, 50.02 seconds, helping the Vikings take second as a team behind 5A Vallivue.
