TreyTon Bell, Mountain View: The Mavericks continued their unbeaten run with a 69-14 victory over Vallivue. Bell, a senior running back/receiver, had 183 yards and four touchdowns on eight carries, and he caught two passes for 100 yards and another score.

Gretchen Litzsinger, Eagle: The senior outside hitter helped the Mustangs sweep Borah during the week and then finish sixth at the Claim Jumper Tournament in Salt Lake City without three starters due to injury. Litzsinger had 19 kills, 13 digs, one block and one ace against the Lions. For the tournament, she totaled 88 kills, 76 digs and six aces.
Makayla Christensen, Centennial: The sophomore forward who recently committed to Utah had a big week for the Patriots, scoring seven goals with one assist. Christensen had two goals and one assist in a 9-0 win over Nampa and then scored five goals in a 5-1 victory against Meridian.
Adrian Arguello, Caldwell: The Cougars maintained their lead in the 4A Southern Idaho Conference with two victories last week. Arguello, a freshman forward, scored three goals with one assist in a 4-0 victory over Bishop Kelly. He then added two goals in a 2-0 shutout of Mountain Home.
GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY
Dania Holmberg, Eagle: The junior led the Mustangs to a victory at the 42nd annual Sunfair Invitational in Yakima, Wash. Holmberg took second individually with her time of 18 minutes, 50.99 seconds on the Franklin Park course.
BOYS CROSS COUNTRY
Michael Slagowski, Rocky Mountain: The senior paced the Grizzlies to a team win at the Gary Ward Invitational at Lakeview Park in Nampa. Slagowski also earned an individual win, crossing the finish line in 15 minutes, 55.65 seconds.
