DJ Crump, Emmett: The junior played a key role on both sides of the ball in the Huskies’ 20-13 win against Middleton. Crump grabbed a pair of interceptions — both in the fourth quarter — and added a 17-yard touchdown reception and 85 rushing yards on 13 carries. Crump returned one of his interceptions 91 yards for a touchdown.

Morgan Bower, Skyview: The Hawks went undefeated at the Rocky Mountain Classic in Utah over the weekend. Bower, a libero, had 98 digs, eight assists and seven aces as Skyview defeated seven teams to win the title.
Mikayla Christensen, Centennial: The junior and Utah commit led the Patriots to a pair of wins last week in 5A Southern Idaho Conference play. Christensen scored four goals in an 8-0 win over Meridian and had one goal and one assist in a 4-2 victory against Eagle.
Skyler Munroe, Timberline: The Wolves won two of three matches last week, and Munroe scored in all three, totaling eight goals and three assists. The senior forward had three goals and an assist in a 5-1 win over Nampa, four goals and an assist in an 8-1 victory over Columbia and one goal and one assist in a 4-3 loss to Borah.
GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY
Lexy Halladay, Mountain View: The freshman ran to a dominant win at the Tiger-Grizz Invitational in Idaho Falls, covering the Freeman Park course in 18 minutes, 19.12 seconds. The Mavericks won the team title, and Halladay topped defending 5A state champion Rachel Morrin of Madison, who finished second in 19:01.2.
BOYS CROSS COUNTRY
Evan Thieme, Rocky Mountain: The senior earned his first victory of the season, running to a win at the Roger Curran Invitational in Nampa, completing the West Park course in 16 minutes, 22.88 seconds. The Grizzlies also won the team title.
