Jason Burton was chosen Tuesday to take over the Lions’ varsity football program.
He replaces Darren Corpus, who resigned Nov. 21 after compiling a record of 24-23 with two playoff appearances in five seasons.
Burton has six years of coaching experiencing, including the past three as the Lions’ varsity defensive coordinator.
He also served one year as Borah’s junior varsity coach, earning a JV conference championship and JV coach of the year honors.
Before coming to Borah, Burton was the defensive backs and special teams coach at Bonneville in Idaho Falls.
