Bucky Schrader rushed for 317 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Mustangs to a victory. Eagle scored 17 points in the second quarter to put the game away. Colton Yasinski passed for 42 yards and a TD and added 65 yards on the ground for Vallivue.
TIMBERLINE 20, NAMPA 14
Drake O’Neill’s touchdown on a 10-yard pass from Justin Lavin in the fourth proved to be the game-winner for the Wolves. Lavin finished with 148 yards. Pedro King and Victor Marquez had 72 and 71 yards rushing, respectively, and each scored a TD for Nampa.

TreyTon Bell and Cole Franklin each ran for three TDs, and Mountain View racked up 661 yards of offense as the Mavericks remained undefeated.

Centennial’s James Fisher ran for two TDs and caught another. But Capital held off an upset bid by running for 198 yards.

Jacob Hibbard was 10-of-13 for 191 yards and four touchdowns in a blowout over the Tigers. Cody Ghighina rushed for 177 yards and two touchdowns, including an 85-yarder, and added a receiving TD. Kyle Pierce scored the first two touchdowns for the Hawks, who led 34-0 after the first quarter and 58-0 at halftime.
MIDDLETON 27, CALDWELL 7
Caleb Harrel ran for two TDs and 51 yards and started the game with an 89-yard kickoff return for a TD as Middleton remained perfect in 4A SIC play. The Vikings held Caldwell to 189 yards.
FRUITLAND 20, WEISER 6
The Grizzlies put 14 points on the board in the fourth quarter to break open a 6-6 tie and come away with a victory. Kennon Smith carried the ball 12 times for 110 yards and a touchdown. Fruitland outrushed Weiser 285-26, while Weiser took the edge in the air 170-140. Bridger Bumgarner led the Wolverines with 65 yards and one touchdown on four catches. QB Matt Pritchard was 21-of-35.
NAMPA CHRISTIAN 35, NEW PLYMOUTH 21
Steve Tiersma threw for 307 yards and two touchdowns on 16-of-27 passing, and the Trojans held on for the win. Andrew Anderson scored on a 62-yard punt return and finished with two TDs for Nampa Christian. Jake Wilson rushed for 110 yards and a touchdown to lead New Plymouth.
SALMON RIVER 60, HORSESHOE BEND 6
Devan Brandstetter threw for two touchdowns and rushed for another as the Savages rolled to a victory. Brandstetter was 8-for-17 for 87 yards. Devin Buys added two touchdowns for Salmon River, rushing for 120 yards on eight carries, and Beau’d Hopkins returned an interception 83 yards for a TD.
