“It really speaks to my kids’ character, their determination, their heart and their fortitude to just dig in and fight when maybe it’s not so easy to fight,” Eagle coach Michelle Dodds said. “They could have just given up.”
Eagle senior outside hitter Gretchen Litzsinger, a Southern Oregon commit, finished with a match-best 27 kills, and fellow senior and outside hitter Kelly Driscoll added 24 kills and 22 digs.

Borah’s defense fell 14 seconds short of a shutout in a 45-7 win over Centennial that gave the Lions a boost in their chase for a playoff berth. Quarterback Hayden Brown threw three first-half TDs as Borah raced out to a 28-0 halftime lead.
