Boise State sold more than 1,400 tickets to this week’s football game during its half-price sale Wednesday, the school reported.
The sale pushed the number of tickets out to 30,500 for the Saturday night contest against New Mexico.
This is arguably the least-attractive game on the Broncos’ home schedule because the opponent has been struggling for years and it’s an 8:15 p.m. kickoff in November weather.
New Mexico, though, has outperformed expectations — the Lobos are 5-4 and one win away from bowl eligibility.
The Huddle in Caven-Williams Sports Complex will re-open at halftime Saturday to serve complimentary coffee and hot chocolate (but no alcoholic beverages) to the first 850 fans, who can pass through the northwest corner of the stadium and re-enter without going through security screening.
