The Boise State football team has added another Moa to its program.
Defensive lineman Ben Moa (6-foot-4, 275 pounds) of Grossmont College in El Cajon, Calif., committed to the Broncos on Wednesday, he confirmed via text message.
"He is a genuinely good guy with outstanding character," Grossmont coach Michael Jordan said via email. "Big body that moves very well. He played on our basketball team also."
Moa is the older brother of David Moa, a true freshman defensive lineman who is redshirting for the Broncos this fall.
Ben Moa will stay at Grossmont through the spring semester and join Boise State next summer. He is a sophomore who originally signed with San Diego State out of high school in 2012. It’s unclear whether Moa has a redshirt year available.
The Moas are from Kearny High in San Diego.
