Note: Each day during camp, we’ll take a look at one of the former Boise State football players in the NFL. The full list is here.
Former Boise State defensive tackle Billy Winn and offensive tackle Nate Potter have been slowed by injuries during training camp this year.
Winn recently returned to practice after dealing with an abdomen injury. He has started in 13 of his 27 games over the past two seasons. He made 21 tackles last season and forced a fumble. He made 26 tackles, broke up three passes and grabbed an interception in 2012.
Winn is listed as the starting right defensive end on the team’s depth chart. The Browns run a 3-4.
Potter remains sidelined with a back injury. He started six games as a rookie in 2012 when the Cardinals had injury issues on their offensive line but didn’t start any last year. He is listed as the backup left tackle.
