Note: Each day during camp, we’ll take a look at one of the former Boise State football players in the NFL. The full list is here.
Former Boise State defensive tackle Chase Baker continues to carve out a spot for himself with the Minnesota Vikings.
Baker went undrafted in 2012. He made the Vikings’ practice squad that year as an undrafted free agent and appeared in five games in 2013, making four tackles.
He’s listed as the No. 4 nose tackle on the depth chart but Vikings.com says Baker “is still on the rise.” Baker is expected to get extra reps in the coming weeks because of the shooting incident that injured starter Linval Joseph.
