The Boise State football team will hold its annual open scrimmage during fall camp Aug. 15 at Albertsons Stadium.
The scrimmage runs from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Admission is free.
The Broncos also will hold a closed scrimmage Aug. 7.
Fall camp begins Friday. For the first time in several years, the entire team will practice together for the first four days. In the past, newcomers began camp with separate practices on those days.
New coach Bryan Harsin has implemented the most restrictive media access to fall camp in school history. Select practices will be open to the media for 20-30 minutes. The rest will be closed.
In the past, the media were able to attend nearly all fall camp practices from start to finish and write about some of the highlight moments.
Our camp coverage begins Thursday with Harsin’s press conference at 3 p.m. The first practice is at 9:55 a.m. Friday with interviews to follow.
In case you missed it Sunday, we had the latest in our series of coach profiles on tight ends coach Eliah Drinkwitz.
Here are links to all six profiles so far. We’ll have a story on wide receivers coach Junior Adams on Tuesday.
