The Boise State football team is on a bye week, but we're not taking it off from updating the Broncos' 2015 commitments' performances last week. Quarterback Brett Rypien threw for more than 350 yards and three TDs again, while linebacker recruit Drew Berger ran back an interception for the third time this season.
2015 BOISE STATE FOOTBALL COMMITMENTS
— OL Garrett Larson, 6-4, 250, Fruitland HS
Played offensive and defensive line in a 35-27 win over Homedale on Friday. The Grizzlies improved to 4-1. Our very own Rachel Roberts spoke to Larson for her game story. Check it out here..
— QB Brett Rypien, 6-2, 185, Shadle Park HS (Spokane, Wash.)
In his first game after signing a financial aid agreement last Monday, Shadle Park topped Gonzaga Prep 25-13 on Friday. Rypien was 35-of-45 passing for 352 yards with three TDs and two interceptions. He has thrown for 2,060 yards on 145-of-235 passing with 25 TDs and eight interceptions, adding 115 rushing yards. (NWPrepsNow.com)
— S Darrell Stewart, 6-1, 190, Nimitz HS (Houston)
Stewart and Nimitz High rolled to a 63-7 rout of Northbrook on Friday to improve to 2-4. In the win, Stewart was 2-for-5 passing for 63 yards and TD. (Chron.com)
— WR Akilian Butler, 5-10, 181, West Mesquite HS (Mesquite, Texas)
Butler had three catches for 21 yards in a tough 37-35 loss to Poteet on Friday, falling on a touchdown with 3:34 left to play. It was 4-1 West Mesquite's first loss. The Wranglers face Terrell on Friday. (DallasNews.com)

Blair and South Cliff had a bye last week, and are looking to improve to 3-3 on Friday against Samuell. The Bears have won two straight by a combined 127-7.
— DB Damion Wright, 6-1, 195, Bishop Mora Salesian (Los Angeles)
Wright and Salesian had a bye last week, but will face Cathedral on Saturday.
— WR Bryan Jefferson, 6-0, 190, Leesburg (Fla.) HS
Leesburg fell to 3-3 with a 38-31 loss to Orlando Edgewater on a long TD pass with less than two minutes to play. Stats were not available for Jefferson. He came into the game with 28 catches for 323 yards. (OrlandoSentinel.com)
— LB Drew Berger, 6-1, 220, Coeur d'Alene HS
It took a TD run in the final minute, but the Vikings pulled out a 31-27 win over Hermiston (Ore.) on Friday. Berger played a big role, rushing seven times for 69 yards (including a 43-yard TD run), a 12-yard reception, had 10 tackles on defense and a 43-yard interception return for a TD. Molchon and Faith Lutheran improved to 3-3 with a 69-8 hammering of Western on Thursday.
