Boise State sophomore forward James Webb III picked up his first Mountain West Player of the Week honor Monday.
Webb had 39 points and 18 rebounds in the Broncos' wins over UNLV on Wednesday and Nevada on Saturday. In the 57 combined minutes he played in the two games, the Broncos outscored their opponents 96-56 when he was on the floor.
In 14 conference games, Webb is averaging 13.3 points and 8.8 rebounds per game. He is the second Bronco to earn player of the week honors this season. Senior guard Derrick Marks has earned it three times.
The Broncos host New Mexico at 9 p.m. Tuesday at Taco Bell Arena. When the two met earlier this season, Webb was 7-for-7 on 3-pointers. Boise State compiled those shots below.
