The Boise State women’s basketball team was the last team unveiled Monday as the field for the NCAA tournament was announced on ESPN.
The reward for all that waiting? A first-round date with historic powerhouse Tennessee on the Volunteers’ home court. The first-round game is Saturday in Knoxville (11:30 a.m., ESPN2).
Boise State, a No. 15 seed, is 22-10. Tennessee, a No. 2 seed, is 27-5. Boise State automatically qualified as the Mountain West tournament champion.
The winner plays Monday against Chattanooga or Pittsburgh.
