LOGAN, Utah — Alexis Fuller and Gracie Tostenson took first and second, respectively, at the Utah State Invitational on Friday. Fuller ran a 17:41.1 in the 5k race, and Tostenson clocked a 17:53.1. The men were led by Chandler Austin (19:58.3) and Riley Campbell (20:00.0), who finished second and third in the 7k.
BSU SWIMMING & DIVING: Boise State took an 81-21 lead over Idaho after the first day of its dual with the Vandals at the Boise West YMCA. The contest resumes at 10:15 a.m. Saturday.
BSU SOCCER: The Broncos beat UNLV 4-0 in Boise. Brooke Heidemann, Baylee Blaser, Addison Standlee and Kayla Tucker scored for Boise State (4-7-3, 2-3-0 Mountain West).
COLLEGE OF IDAHO VOLLEYBALL: The Coyotes defeated Corban 25-20, 25-17, 25-16 in Caldwell. Randi Sturtz and Kylie Porter each had 10 kills for the C of I (11-9, 9-3 Cascade).
C OF I MEN’S SOCCER: The Coyotes lost to No. 7 Corban 2-1 in Salem, Ore. Mehmed Selimovic scored for the C of I (5-3, 4-3 Cascade).
C OF I WOMEN’S SOCCER: The College of Idaho picked up a 2-0 win at Corban. Jamiece Yizar and Bri Blair scored for the Coyotes (8-2, 4-1 Cascade).
NORTHWEST NAZARENE MEN’S SOCCER: Simon Fraser shut out the No. 12 Crusaders 2-0 in Burnaby, British Columbia, late Thursday night. Brandon Watson had five saves for NNU (8-2-1, 4-1-1 GNAC).
NNU WOMEN’S GOLF: The Crusaders are in eighth place after shooting 59-over 351 on the first day of the St. Martin’s Invitational in Lacey, Wash.
NNU CROSS COUNTRY: The women’s team took fifth place and the men finished 12th at the San Francisco State Inviational.
