Graysen Huff, an Eagle High graduate and current Auburn golfer, beat Boise’s Hayden Ritter to claim the 2016 IGA Men’s Match Play Championship in 19 holes Sunday at Elkhorn Golf Club.
Huff started the day with a tight semifinal battle against Boise’s Justin McAfee, winning in 20 holes.
In the senior men’s competition, Eagle’s Rod Skyles took down Boise’s Jason Dobis in 20 holes.
TREASURE VALLEY AMATEUR: Eagle’s Chris Carew (Idaho) carded a 133 to best Boise’s Kyle Mitsunaga (Boise State) by five strokes at Plantation Country Club. The women’s title went to Dana Clary with a two-day total of 142.
