Three former Boise State football players - defensive end Kamalei Correa, safety Darian Thompson and offensive lineman Rees Odhiambo - were officially invited to the NFL Scouting Combine on Thursday.
Correa announced after the Broncos’ Poinsettia Bowl win he would forego his senior season for the NFL. Thompson has been climbing up draft boards after an outstanding week at the Senior Bowl, where he was named the North team’s MVP. Odhiambo missed the Broncos’ last five games with an ankle injury, but his size (6-foot-4, 305 pounds) makes him an intriguing prospect.
The combine will be held in Indianapolis from Feb. 23-29. Odhiambo will do drills with the other offensive linemen the 26th, Correa with the defensive linemen the 28th and Thompson with the defensive backs the 29th.

In nonconference games, the Broncos will host Washington State on Sept. 10 and BYU on Oct. 22, playing at Louisiana on Sept. 3 and Oregon State on Sept. 24.
