Idaho agreed to terms Tuesday with Carson McMillan, a seventh-round NHL Draft pick in 2007 who has played 16 games for the Minnesota Wild.
McMillan, 27, enters his seventh professional season. He spent last season with the ECHL’s Orlando Solar Bears and the AHL’s Toronto Marlies and Bridgeport Sound Tigers, totaling nine goals and 12 assists in 56 games.
“Carson is a veteran player who contributes at both ends of the rink,” head coach Neil Graham said. “He leads by example and will have a strong presence in our locker room.”
The 6-foot-1, 196-pound right wing has two career NHL goals and three assists in three stints with the Wild between the 2010-11 and 2013-14 seasons.
