The Coyotes took first at the Oregon Tech Invite on Tuesday with a team-total 73-over-par 649 at the Running Y Golf Course. Freshman Natalie Mullins (Eagle High) was the medalist at 8-over 152, while Shaunel Fillmore (Rocky Mountain High) and Lexi Oropeza (Caldwell High) tied for fifth (163). The C of I men placed third at 64-over 928. Hunter Matyus (11-over 227) tied for ninth. Oregon Tech (853) won the men’s meet.
BOISE STATE MEN’S GOLF: Shane Allor tied for 14th at the Husky Invitational in Cle Elum, Wash., shooting a 7-over 220 for his fourth consecutive top-25 finish, dating back to last season. The Broncos finished 12th in the 14-school field at 48-over 900.
NORTHWEST NAZARENE MEN’S GOLF: Keynan Fanslow tied for ninth at the WWU Invitational in Bellingham, carding a 3-under 213. The Crusaders finished ninth at 27-over 891. Dixie State (857) won the event.
NNU MEN’S SOCCER: The Crusaders are back in the National Soccer Coaches Association of American NCAA Division II Top 25 poll at No. 22 after a week out of the rankings.
IDAHO SOCCER: Goalkeeper Amanda Poertner and midfielder Alyssa Lloyd are the Big Sky defensive and offensive players of the week, respectively.
