Season-ticket sales are slightly behind last year, but a final number could top that total by the time the Broncos kick off Sept. 4 against Washington at Albertsons Stadium. Boise State sold 20,148 season tickets as of Tuesday, it said. The school sold 21,139 last year, but historically, about 2,000 season tickets are sold in August (about 1,500 remain). Washington will receive 3,500 tickets for the game. The initial contract called for the Huskies to get 400 complimentary tickets and the right to purchase 1,800 more. Boise State asked for, and received, additional tickets for its 2013 game at Washington, which then amended the contract for this year’s game.
