— OL Garrett Larson, 6-4, 250, Fruitland HS
Played offensive and defensive line in Fruitland's 28-6 win at home Friday to improve to 1-1.

— QB Brett Rypien, 6-2, 185, Shadle Park HS (Spokane, Wash.)
Threw for an impressive eight TDs and 428 yards on 29-of-43 passing with two interceptions at home in a season-opening 63-14 win against Fife High on Saturday. The eight touchdowns tied a career-high and are tied for second-most in a single game in Washington 11-man history — among those he's tied with is Kellen Moore. He also ran for 61 yards. — S Darrell Stewart, 6-1, 190, Nimitz HS (Houston)
Complete stats weren't available, but played quarterback and defensive back in 39-0 loss against Spring on Friday. Nimitz is 0-2 and has lost by a combined 88-6.
— WR Akilian Butler, 5-10, 181, West Mesquite HS (Mesquite, Texas)
Had three catches for 26 yards, a 5-yard rush and a 28-yard touchdown pass in a 60-7 hammering of Wylie on Friday. He has four catches for 38 yards and a touchdown this season. (DallasNews.com)
— CB Ladarryl Blair, 6-0, 183, South Oak Cliff HS (Dallas)
Had three catches for 49 yards and a touchdown, plus ran twice for 20 yards in a 45-38 loss to South Grand Prairie on Friday. He has nine catches for 116 yards and two touchdowns plus six rushes for 34 yards this season. (DallasNews.com)
— DB Damion Wright, 6-1, 195, Bishop Mora Salesian (Los Angeles)
Stats not available, but played quarterback and defensive back in Salesian's 21-13 loss to Claremont on Friday.
— WR Bryan Jefferson, 6-0, 190, Leesburg (Fla.) HS
Had eight catches for 105 yards and a touchdown in Leesburg's 16-8 win over Eustis on Friday. He has 15 catches for 239 yards and four TDs this season for 2-0 Leesburg. (DailyCommercial.com)

Ran seven times for 34 yards and scored a TD, had a 65-yard TD catch and ran back an interception for a touchdown in the Vikings' 50-14 win over Central Valley on Friday. He's run for 96 yards for the 2-0 Vikings. (CDAPress.com)
