If you're looking for an Idaho Invasive Species Fund sticker, you'll find some delays.
The Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation said Friday that a significant number of online and mail-in order requests for Idaho Invasive Species Fund stickers are taxing the fulfillment process and causing delays.
The new law, that took effect in April, requires all vessels that launch in Idaho to obtain and display IISF stickers.
“The sheer number of orders that IDPR is receiving is preventing the seven- to 10-day turn-around originally projected,” said Renee Iverson, Idaho Parks and Recreation registration manager. “IDPR is working diligently to process orders as quickly as possible.”
Idaho law enforcement officials been notified of order processing delays.
Customers that have purchased online or by mail can use a copy of their check or printed receipt of online payment as proof of contribution to the IISF until stickers arrive by mail.
Vessel owners still in need of IISF stickers can purchase online at www.parksandrecreation.idaho.gov, by mail or at any Idaho state park or regional service center. A complete list of state park locations and service centers are also available online.
