If you want a say in what goes on in area national forests, join the Southwest Idaho Resource Advisory Committee for the Payette and Boise national forests.
The U.S. Forest Service is taking applications for members and alternates.
The committee, consisting of 15 citizens and three alternates, reviews proposed forest management projects and makes recommendations to the Forest Service on their implementation.
The application period ends Jan. 20.
The committee covers the Payette and Boise national forests and the Fairfield Ranger District on the Sawtooth National Forest. Counties included are Adams, Boise, Elmore, Gem, Valley, and Washington.
