This an interesting story about how mountain bikers now outnumber skiers on some of Alaska's trails.
"The days of Anchorage being a ski town are over. Now Anchorage is a fatbike town."
The bikes are showing up in Idaho and being used on trails groomed for Nordic skiing and snowmobiling.
They're welcome in some places and excluded in others. But if they grow in popularity here, you can bet there will be more demand for access and competition between users.
