What madness has gripped the Nampa real estate market? I just accepted a job offer as a teacher in Nampa, I’m single with no kids, I currently live in a one-bedroom house in Payette less than 400 square feet. My rent is $450. I go looking for a similar dwelling in Nampa and I find five; three are Section 42 i.e., limited income, my teaching salary is too much for that; the other two are luxury condos with rents starting at $800, and my salary isn’t enough to afford that. Earth to Nampa, bachelors need a place to live, too, and teachers don’t make six-digit salaries. I’ve heard that common sense really ain’t so common sometimes, but this is ridiculous.
