Raul Labrador’s campaign to transfer federal lands to the states is a thinly veiled attempt to lock us out of our wild places.
All Americans share the right to access our federal public lands. This is a priceless asset for those of us who could never own such places individually.
The state of Idaho has already sold over a third of the land transferred from federal control. The costs of managing more land could be astronomical. When money gets tight, it could be your favorite hunting or camping spot that is sold to balance the budget.
Our vote is the best tool to keep public lands in public hands. As our congressman, James Piotrowski will protect Idaho’s open spaces.
