I have lived through World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War and now several Middle East clashes. I always considered our government to be on our side. But, today my government seems to be opposed to our Christian religion with the LGBT issue. Where is our freedom of religion?
Now the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals refuses to recognize concealed carry permits in California. Where is our right to bear arms?
In other words, some of our basic rights written by our forefathers are being denied by our own government. As a result, I expect a record turnout of voters in November to begin to whittle back those government agencies that are attempting to deny our basic rights.
