Qualifications for a Supreme Court candidate should include education, experience and background. These can be easily researched by reading the campaign literature.
A Supreme Court judge should also possess a degree of wisdom, common sense and a blind eye to the politics that inevitably enters into some cases.
On those counts, candidate Curt McKenzie fails miserably. To hire disgraced ex-senator John McGee as his campaign manager shows a lack of all three. The hire smacks of good ole boy Republican politics, which I am very weary of.
McKenzie’s decision on this matter has whittled my choices by one.
