Thinking of Earth Day, which is every day — just walk on our Mother Earth with reverence and thankfulness. When you walk, you can do as Thich Nhat Hanh suggests: While walking and breathing, say, “Yes, yes, yes” and “thanks, thanks, thanks.” We need to slow down, being grateful for all the Earth has given and loaned to us.
If you have trouble walking, just listen to the birds and wind, watching the beautiful sky and clouds, animals and plants. Let’s treat great nature with respect and gratitude.
