I am shocked that our Legislature has made law, pending Governor Otter’s signature, allowing anyone to carry a concealed weapon in Idaho cities. Think of how many guns there are going to be in the bars, and out on the streets at closing time. I get the meaning of the Second Amendment, but I seriously doubt the Founding Fathers had any idea of how many guns would be out there, let alone in the hands of anyone who so desires. It would be best to take a breath, veto and send this back next year for more careful consideration and limitations.
