Aug. 20, the Idaho Conservation League reported that the PUC granted Idaho Power its wish to reduce the number of years it’s required, per PURPA, to buy electricity from other sources to two years. Ta-ta new solar, ta-ta new wind.
Why hasn’t there yet been any mention of this in the Statesman? This tacit favoritism from you likely adds to the suspicion that you don’t care about large-scale alternate energy projects from sources outside the good ol’ boys cloister.
