I beg to differ with your editorial regarding drama between West Ada School District board and administration. It’s about time someone spoke up about what is going on with this district’s spending and leadership. It is top-heavy with personnel and salaries. It’s public information, look it up, you will see many six-figure salaries with unexplainable titles. Ask about all the district-paid trips for seminars they send many employees on all year long, not just the school year. Does this info get down to the teachers? Ask about employees who have retired and been hired back as high-paid “consultants.” They are not only getting their retirement income, now additional high hourly rates from the district. This district cries poor — “We need more money, we need to pass more bonds!” Clark just created two more administration jobs at over $100,000 salary, one going to an employee who planned to retire soon. Nice gift for retirement. If you are a parent in this district, you should be on their front door screaming. It’s your tax dollars paying for all this. Think how many teachers those two salaries could pay for. Enough is enough. Use what you have more wisely.
