One of Boise’s most precious and outstanding citizens passed away recently.
For those of you who were privileged, as I was, to know her — Winnie Colwell was one in a million.
She gave of herself in so many ways to this community, making sure children who would not have a Christmas, had something special — donating her wonderful paintings also for that cause.
She was a clown, even going to the Barnum and Bailey college for training. So full of life.
Never miss a local story.
She grew the most beautiful flowers imaginable and shared them continually with others.
She lived her life to the fullest.
She will be missed by all who knew her — but we all will better people for that relationship.
