As a parent in the West Ada School District I applaud the new board members for taking the time to reconsider the superintendent’s contract. In my opinion, the previous board functioned like a rubber stamp for the administration, which has prevented the district from progressing and looking at curriculum changes in a thoughtful manner. Without checks and balances, one person can become too powerful, and I’m not confident Linda Clark has the ability to lead without guidance. I’m grateful they are taking the task of due diligence seriously and support them.
