I submit this letter only to publicly ask — why is the “news” of an owner selling his business to another suddenly a national tragedy? I am empathetic with refugee displacement. I am all too familiar with the change of ownership in a rental property. Listen, it is not the public’s responsibility to take individual care of people who just like many of us have been there, done that. I’m sorry, it is a very sad thing, but if you would extend this kind of sadness and service to one then why not to all? Americans understand that nobody is entitled to the secure knowledge ... A rental is not your real property.
