Two things come to mind concerning our senators and the health care legislation being worked in the Senate.
1. Why do the media and GOP assume they are “Yes” votes automatically? Have they not voiced any position that requires a review of the legislation before they would make their position known?
2. Where do our governor and local legislators stand on this? The amount of responsibility being “released” back to the state level should require their (and our) buy-in to take on that role and have our representatives carry that decision into Congress.
