Gov. Butch Otter has endorsed Rep. Brandon Hixon (R-Caldwell) in the District 10 House Seat A race.
"Representative Brandon Hixon is a vibrant young conservative that continues to demonstrate principled leadership. He is in touch with the issues at hand, and attentively listens to his constituents. He has served the citizens of District 10 with honor and integrity, and I fully endorse his campaign for re-election," said Otter in a press release.
"With a proven record of voting to cut taxes on small businesses in Idaho, co-sponsoring critical 2nd Amendment gun rights protection legislation, championing healthcare reform, and overall trying to return rights back to the average hard working Idaho citizen, Governor Otter has chosen the right man for the job," said Hixon. "It has been a tremendous honor to serve the people of Caldwell and West Nampa for the last 2 years. I appreciate Governor Otter’s resounding endorsement, and I will continue to deliver excellent representation if re-elected on November 4."
Hixon faces Democratic challenger Travis Manning in the Nov. 4 election.
