The Ada County Highway District will host an open house on Monday, April 18, on its preliminary design for widening Meridian Road from Cherry Lane to Ustick Road. The open house takes place from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Meridian City Hall, 33 E. Broadway Ave.
One person died and two people were hospitalized after multiple crashes involving semitrailers on Interstate 84, roughly 25 miles west of Ontario, Ore., according to the Oregon Department of Transportation.
