Megan Griffin is the new president and chief executive officer of Make a Wish Idaho.
She will manage the nonprofit and work with supporters across the state.
"We are excited to have Megan lead the Chapter. Our search committee feels confident that her strengths and leadership ability align perfectly with our goals and plans for increased fundraising and outreach to wish families in our state,” said Steve Cilley, chairman of the board of directors.
Griffin's background includes work in business and the nonprofit realm.
She began her professional career in 1991 in technology sales at Hewlett-Packard Company. In 2004 she was named program director of The Bridge, a group that worked to improve foster care in Idaho. Most recently, Griffin was director of development for Idaho Public Television.
Griffin graduated from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and holds a certificate in fundraising management from The Fundraising School at Indiana University. Griffin was an Idaho Business Review “Woman of the Year” and “Accomplished Under 40” recipient in 2008.
