The American Red Cross of Greater Idaho responded to three house fires in the Treasure Valley just last weekend. Supplies of certain staples are running low and the organization is asking for the public's help.
The local Red Cross office is in urgent need of travel-sized shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste and shaving cream. The items will be used in "comfort kits" the organization provides for people whose homes are burned.
If you can help, drop donations from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., weekdays at the Boise American Red Cross office, 5371 W. Franklin Rd.
For more information about how you can help, call the office at 855-4932.
