More than 75 Idaho Army National Guardsmen returned this week from Angkor Sentinel 2015.
The annual exercise is sponsored by U.S. Army Pacific Command and hosted by the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces, and focuses on providing humanitarian assistance and responding to disasters. Cambodia uses the training to prepare for United Nations missions.
This was the exercise’s sixth year, according to details provided by the Idaho National Guard. It’s the fifth year that Idaho Guardsmen have participated.
The exercise ran March 9-20.
