An Eagle man died in a structure fire that burned a single-wide trailer in the 10000 block of Horseshoe Bend Road early Thursday morning, according to Mike Winkle, Eagle fire chief.
The fire was reported around 3:30 a.m. Fire crews were on the scene in a few minutes and put the fire out quickly, he said.
A 20-year-old man got out of the burning structure, but his grandfather, who was in his 60s, did not, Winkle said.
“Crews found the grandfather (and) extricated him,” Winkle said.

Four engines and one ladder truck responded, and the Boise Fire Department assisted, Winkle said.
The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
