Local residents can help make a difference in the community during Nampa’s 4th annual stormwater community cleanup day on Saturday, Sept. 27.
Volunteers will add permanent decals to storm drain inlets, pick up litter and participate in educational water quality activities. Volunteers will enjoy a free volunteer appreciation lunch provided by Wal-Mart and an opportunity to make an edible aquifer after the clean-up.
Volunteers should show up at 9 a.m. Saturday at West Park on Lonestar Road near Midland Boulevard.
