Just in time for warm weather this weekend, Boise Parks & Recreation has opened a renovated spray ground at Borah Neighborhood Park, 801 S. Aurora.
The splash pad offers water features for kids of all ages. Hours are 10 a.m.to 8 p.m. through Labor Day. There is no admission fee for the spray ground.
“Our goal is to provide the public on the Bench with an accessible, healthy aquatics experience,” said Paula Ekins, aquatics coordinator for Boise Parks & Recreation in a press release.
Thirteen-acre Borah Park features picnic shelters, a large playground, open play areas, restrooms, chess tables and public art. Borah’s outdoor pool opens at 1:30 p.m. June 4 for the summer season.
