An 80-year-old man died after a motorcycle accident in Caldwell Friday, according to a Canyon County Sheriff’s Office press release.
Robert Richcreek, 80, of Wilder was riding his 1996 Harley Davidson behind his son, Terry Deweese, driving a 2005 Harley Davidson going west on Deer Flat Road. Deweese signaled to turn north onto Chicken Dinner Road, but Richcreek crashed into Deweese and went off the road, according to the release.
After going off the road Richcreek crashed into a fence and sustained neck trauma. He was sent to the hospital and died over the weekend, according to the release.
The crash is still under investigation. No charges have been filed. But, according to the release, alcohol was not a factor and everyone involved was wearing helmets.
