A segment of the Boise River Greenbelt, near Marianne Williams Park, will soon close down to the public, according to a city of Boise press release.
The approximately 150-foot section of the path is next to the intersection of East ParkCenter Boulevard and East Barber Valley Drive.
Developers of the Arboretum at Barber Station — 162-unit apartment complex with one two-story building and two buildings of four stories each — had allowed access to the Greenbelt through the property until their own project began. That time has now come, the city says, and a chain link fence will soon be installed around the site.
Once the project is finished, the path will remain closed to the public, according to the release.
Never miss a local story.
Access will remain open to all other Greenbelt pathways nearby.
