Pedestrian, cyclist and roadway improvements will be the focus of an open house hosted by St. Luke’s at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 6, at the Boise Senior Center, 690 Robbins Road.
Neighbors and the public are invited to discuss transportation opportunities and challenges with St. Luke’s staff and representatives from CH2M and Alta Planning.
The meeting also will satisfy the Ada County Highway District’s requirement for St. Luke’s to hold a neighborhood meeting on the hospital’s future application to close a section of Jefferson Street for the hospital’s expansion, according to a news release.
Never miss a local story.
The $400 million hospital expansion project includes a new children’s hospital, more space for the St. Luke’s Mountain States Tumor Institute cancer center, a new central plant, additional parking structures and improvements to critical-care units, labor and delivery, emergency department and operating suites. An additional 60 patient rooms also are planned.
