“Today was a good day. Max responded as the doctors had hoped and remained stable throughout the day. The ortho team assessed his leg and report that it is healing as planned. Most of all, it was a day of rest and healing for him. All the thoughts and energy friends and family are sharing are amazing and sincerely appreciated,” according to an update on the page posted late Saturday night.
The page has also brought in nearly 65,000 as of Sunday night.
The Boise Bicycle Projects campaign for safer driving and bike lanes for Wyatt has also taken off. The organization is distributing bracelets made from bike spokes to spread the message that this should not happen again.
