A Boise man died in a one-vehicle crash in Elmore County Saturday morning, according to Elmore County Sheriff’s Office.
The 32-year-old man was driving a 2001 Pontiac north on Simco Road near mile marker 17 around 8 a.m. when he failed to negotiate a turn, according to the sheriff’s office.
He slid off the road, went airborne, crashed into a fence and rolled over. The driver suffered head injuries and died on the scene, according to the sheriff’s office.
Investigators are determining whether alcohol or drugs were involved with toxicology tests.
